The folks behind the wheel
DE Beach Rides is Herb & Ruth Reynolds of Long Neck — your neighbors, not a national chain.
When we took over DE Beach Rides, we inherited more than a van and a phone number — we inherited years of trust built one ride at a time, carrying Sussex County neighbors to early flights, late trains, and everything in between. We're proud to carry that tradition forward from our home base in Long Neck.
We live here year-round, so we know what out-of-town drivers don't: which summer Saturday the Route 1 backup starts at Five Points, how early you really need to leave Bethany to make a 7 AM flight out of BWI, and where the fog sits on Route 9 in October. That local knowledge is built into every pickup time we quote.
Our difference
A person, not an app
Call or text and a human answers. Every ride is confirmed person-to-person, and your driver knows your name before you get in.
Flat rates, quoted first
You know your door-to-door price before you book. No meters running, no surge pricing when it rains.
We watch your flight
Delayed inbound? We adjust. You will never stand at baggage claim wondering if your ride gave up on you.
Any hour, any season
Beach flights leave early and land late. So do we — 365 days a year.
Our motto says it best: “You call, we haul — and that ain’t all.”Airports are our bread and butter, but we also run rides to Amtrak and Greyhound, the Cape May–Lewes Ferry, cruise terminals, military bases, and college campuses — if you need to get there, ask.
Come ride with us.
